Both my husband and I are avid wearers of protective face masks . Anything and everything is disinfected before entering our home, groceries, packages, mail, food. Produce is cleaned with a soap and water solution. Every toy, furniture and surface have been and continue to be disinfected with a bleach/water solution recommended by the CDC.

Miss Sunshine Daycare is newly licensed and has completed the  Covid-19 Child Care Program Self-Assessment Guide.

There are plans in place when dropping off and picking up your child to protect one another from COVID-19.

We are checking the temperature of every child and parent as you enter and use hand sanitizer throughout the day

Hand washing is required regularly throughout the day for staff and children. Children will be supervised while washing hands to insure it is done correctly.

Your child and your child’s family’s health are of upmost importance to Miss Sunshine Daycare, and always will be.

Emergency Preparedness

Your child will learn in a fun positive way how and when to call 911., “Stop-Drop-Roll” rule, and what to do in case of smoke or earthquake. 

As a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Sunnyvale Neighbours Are Prepared (SNAP) volunteer in Sunnyvale, I am extra trained to take care of your loves ones in the event of a disaster (earthquake for instance).

We have sufficient water, food, first aid, lighting and warmth for each child for up to 3 days in the event of an emergency.
